A slanted serif with a calligraphic, old-style skeleton and visibly hand-shaped contours. Strokes show modest thick–thin modulation and a slightly irregular, inked edge that keeps the color lively rather than mechanical. Serifs are small and bracketed with wedge-like terminals, and joins are soft, giving counters a warm, organic feel. Proportions are compact in the lowercase with a notably low x-height and relatively prominent ascenders/descenders; overall spacing and widths vary enough to read as intentionally lively and not strictly uniform.

Best suited to book and editorial typography where a warm, classic voice is desirable, and where the italic slant can contribute to a narrative, literary tone. It also works well for invitations, certificates, and artisanal branding that benefit from an engraved/inked impression. At larger sizes, its lively edges and varied widths become a distinctive stylistic feature for titles and pull quotes.

The face reads as literary and historically flavored, like printed text touched by a pen. Its slight roughness and flowing slant add personality and approachability, balancing seriousness with a handmade charm. The tone suggests tradition, storytelling, and craft rather than sleek modernity.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional old-style printing and pen-driven construction, prioritizing warmth, rhythm, and human presence over strict geometric regularity. The slant and subtle roughness suggest a deliberately expressive text face aimed at adding character while remaining readable in continuous copy.

In the sample text, the texture holds together well in paragraph settings, with clear word shapes and a rhythmic, slightly bouncy baseline feel. The numerals and capitals share the same calligraphic movement and irregularity, which helps maintain a consistent voice across display and text use.
