A classic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, well-defined serifs that read as crisp rather than blocky. Curves are smooth and open, counters are generous, and the overall rhythm is steady and composed. The lowercase shows a traditional text-face structure with a two-storey “g,” moderate ascenders/descenders, and numerals that follow the same high-contrast, old-style-inflected drawing.

Well suited to book interiors, long-form articles, essays, and other editorial typography where a traditional serif voice is appropriate. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and institutional communications that benefit from a classic, trustworthy tone. The numerals and uppercase have enough presence for titling, covers, and section headings without losing the text-face character.

This typeface conveys a literary, traditional tone with a refined, slightly formal voice. Its crisp contrast and calm vertical stance give it an authoritative, editorial feel, while the subtly calligraphic modulation keeps it from feeling sterile.

The design appears intended for comfortable, extended reading with a familiar book typography character. High-contrast strokes and clean serifs aim to deliver refinement and typographic color suitable for serious content, while maintaining a warm, humanist flow in the lowercase.

The sample text shows consistent spacing and an even typographic color at larger text sizes, with clear differentiation between similar shapes. Serifs stay sharp at joins, and the overall drawing balances crispness with a gently calligraphic feel in curved strokes.
