A tightly drawn, high-contrast serif with strong vertical stems and delicate hairline horizontals and serifs. The letterforms feel compact and sturdy in the core strokes, while terminals and cross-strokes taper to fine points, creating a crisp black–white rhythm. Serifs are refined and relatively unbracketed, with clean joins and a pronounced vertical stress that reads clearly in both capitals and lowercase. Counters are moderately open and the overall texture is assertive, with prominent weight concentration that makes the face look confident at display sizes.

Well suited to headlines, deck copy, and large-format editorial settings where contrast and refinement are meant to be seen. It can add a premium, fashion-forward voice to magazine layouts, posters, and book covers, and works best when given enough size (or careful spacing) to preserve its thin hairlines.

The tone is elevated and editorial, balancing elegance with a forceful, poster-like presence. Its sharp contrast and formal detailing evoke fashion and magazine typography, while the heavy main strokes add authority and seriousness. Overall it feels classic and commanding rather than casual or playful.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern classic: a high-contrast serif that signals sophistication while staying emphatic and readable in display contexts. Its strong vertical structure and sharp detailing suggest a focus on impactful typography for titles and branding-led compositions.

In the samples, the dense verticals create a strong headline color; fine hairlines and small interior apertures can tighten up as size decreases, especially in text with lots of curves and diagonals. Numerals and capitals appear designed to hold attention, giving the font a distinctly display-first character.
