A condensed, high-contrast serif with a strongly vertical, poster-like stance and a deliberately roughened contour. Stems are weighty while joins and interior edges show thin cut-ins and sharp transitions, producing a carved or stamped texture rather than smooth curves. Serifs and terminals are small, crisp, and often wedge-like, with occasional asymmetry and slight wobble that reads as hand-inked or distressed. Counters are relatively tight and the rhythm is compact, with subtly inconsistent widths and edge bite that adds character at display sizes.

Best suited for display work such as posters, headlines, and short editorial phrases where the rough texture and contrast can be appreciated. It also fits packaging, labels, and book or album covers aiming for an aged, handcrafted, or sideshow aesthetic. Use generous size and spacing for longer lines to keep the distressed details from crowding.

The font conveys a vintage, theatrical energy with a touch of grit and mischief. Its distressed, ink-worn texture suggests old printing, haunted posters, or carnival signage, giving copy an expressive, slightly spooky charm without becoming illegible.

The design appears intended to evoke early print and sign-lettering with a worn, ink-pressed finish—combining a condensed display structure with intentionally imperfect edges to add personality and period flavor.

In running text the rugged outlines create a lively sparkle, but the condensed proportions and busy edges can build visual noise at smaller sizes. The numerals share the same compressed, posterish presence, and the overall color is dark and punchy with pronounced light–dark flicker from the contrast.
