A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke endings and strongly bracketed serifs. The letterforms show pronounced thick–thin modulation, with crisp wedge-like terminals on many strokes and round ball terminals in places (notably on lowercase like g). Uppercase characters are broad and stable, with generous horizontals and wide bowls, while the lowercase keeps a moderate x-height and clear, open counters. Curves are smooth and somewhat expansive, and joins/serifs feel carved rather than purely mechanical, giving the face a distinctly modelled silhouette.

This face is well suited to headlines and display typography where its contrast and sculpted serifs can be appreciated—magazine titles, editorial spreads, book covers, and promotional posters. It can also work for short-form text such as pull quotes or section openers when a formal, classical voice is desired.

The overall tone feels traditional and literary, with a confident, slightly ceremonial presence. Its sharp serifs and dramatic contrast add a sense of refinement and authority, suited to content that aims to look established and considered rather than casual.

The design appears intended to evoke a classical, carved-serif feel while emphasizing dramatic stroke contrast and expressive, flared terminals for strong display impact. Its wide, steady proportions and carefully modelled serifs suggest a focus on elegant typography for editorial and publishing contexts.

The numerals follow the same high-contrast, flared construction, with expressive curves (especially in 2, 3, and 5) and a prominent, rounded 8. The sample text shows strong word-shape and a dark typographic color at larger sizes, with distinctive terminals that remain visible even in dense setting.
