A heavy, serifed text face with strongly roughened contours and irregular interior counters, as if printed through worn type or broken ink coverage. Stems and serifs are sturdy and fairly traditional in construction, but the edges fluctuate with chipping, feathering, and small voids that create a jittery silhouette. Letterforms keep an upright posture and readable proportions, while the distressing introduces subtle width variation and an uneven color across words. The lowercase shows a compact, workmanlike structure with a single-storey “a,” and the numerals follow the same rugged, stamped texture.

Works best for short, high-impact typography such as posters, headlines, pull quotes, and title treatments where the distressed texture can be appreciated. It also suits packaging, labels, and branding that want a tactile, printed-on-paper feel, as well as album art or event graphics aiming for a rugged, vintage-leaning voice.

The overall tone feels gritty and analog, evoking worn paper, old shop signage, and rough presswork. Its texture adds urgency and attitude, leaning more utilitarian than elegant, with a strong handmade/printed artifact character.

The design appears intended to combine familiar serif letterforms with deliberate wear and ink breakdown, delivering the authority of a classic text structure while projecting a rough, lived-in surface. It prioritizes character and texture over neutrality, making it a strong thematic display choice.

The distress pattern is consistent enough to read as intentional texture rather than random noise, yet varied enough to prevent repeating shapes from looking mechanical. The heavy weight and broken edges can visually fill in at very small sizes, but it gains character quickly once set large enough for the interior erosion to remain distinct.
