A calligraphic old-style serif with lively, slightly irregular contours and sharply tapered terminals. Strokes show pronounced contrast with thin hairlines that flick into wedge-like serifs, and many joins and curves feel drawn rather than mechanically constructed. Proportions are compact, with a short x-height and relatively prominent ascenders, while round letters remain softly modulated rather than perfectly geometric. The overall texture is slightly rough and organic, as if printed from an inked form, giving the line a gently uneven rhythm.

Best suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a traditional, human voice is desired, as well as display-sized use in chapter titles, pull quotes, and cultural or heritage-oriented branding. Its textured, inked character also works well for invitations, certificates, and packaging that benefits from an antique or handcrafted impression.

The font reads as bookish and historical, with a warm, human presence that suggests traditional letterforms and craft. Its inked edges and animated stroke endings add personality without tipping into novelty, creating a refined but approachable tone. It evokes classic print, early publishing, and archival material—serious, but not cold.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic old-style serif typography through a visibly hand-influenced, slightly distressed drawing, aiming for warmth and authenticity over clinical precision. It prioritizes a traditional page-like rhythm and expressive terminals to convey a sense of age, craft, and literary credibility.

Capitals are stately and open, with distinctive, sweeping forms in letters like Q and a subtly calligraphed flavor across diagonals and curves. Lowercase shows a strong baseline presence and a slightly “fussy” detail level in terminals and serifs, which becomes more evident at larger sizes. Numerals follow the same drawn contrast and tapering, matching the text color well.
