A slab-serif, typewriter-inspired design with sturdy, squared proportions and slightly condensed counters that hold up under heavy ink. The strokes show intentional irregularity: edges wobble, terminals chip, and joins look softly rounded as if pressed through worn metal type or over-inked ribbon. Serifs are blunt and blocky, with small asymmetries that keep the rhythm lively while remaining highly structured and consistent. Lowercase forms are straightforward and workmanlike, with single-storey shapes (notably the a) and a simple, sturdy construction across the set; numerals match the same rugged, stamped texture.

Well-suited for headlines and short passages where a rugged, typed character is desirable—posters, cover art, brand accents, and themed editorial spreads. It can also work for longer text when ample size and spacing are available, as the distressed edges and heavy ink presence become more prominent at smaller sizes.

The overall tone is vintage and utilitarian, evoking typed documents, old labels, and imperfect print reproduction. Its rough texture adds a gritty, humanized feel—suggesting age, urgency, or tactile authenticity rather than polished refinement.

Designed to capture the look of worn typewriter or letterpress output, combining a disciplined, mechanical skeleton with deliberate print imperfection for character and atmosphere. The goal appears to be a dependable, readable texture that immediately signals analog authenticity.

Distress is distributed consistently across glyphs, reading more like printing wear and ink spread than random damage, which helps text blocks stay cohesive. The texture is strong enough to be part of the voice, so it will visually dominate in cleaner layouts, especially at larger sizes.
