A delicate serif with pronounced stroke modulation and sharp, tapered terminals that feel ink-drawn rather than mechanically uniform. Serifs are small and often wedge-like, with many endings resolving to fine points; curves show a slightly uneven, organic rhythm. Capitals are relatively tall with slender stems and occasional calligraphic flicks, while lowercase forms keep a modest x-height and lean on thin hairlines for interior detail. Overall spacing feels compact and the texture on the line alternates between crisp thick strokes and very fine connecting strokes, giving the design a lively, slightly irregular color.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where its high-contrast detailing can be appreciated—book covers, editorial headlines, pull quotes, cultural posters, and boutique packaging. It can also work for identity wordmarks when a handcrafted, vintage-inflected serif voice is desired.

The tone is bookish and old-world, evoking historical printing and pen-made letterforms. Its wiry hairlines and spurred terminals add a touch of eccentricity, making the voice feel both refined and a bit mischievous rather than strictly formal.

The design appears intended to reinterpret old-style, calligraphic serif construction with an intentionally hand-rendered edge—mixing refined proportions with expressive, ink-like tapering to create a distinctive, literary display texture.

Several glyphs show distinctive, idiosyncratic details—hooked or flared terminals, narrow apertures, and pointed joins—that read clearly at display sizes and create a recognizable silhouette. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with thin entry/exit strokes and heavier main stems.
