A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly calligraphic stress. Serifs are bracketed and crisp, with tapered entry/exit strokes and occasional teardrop-like terminals in the lowercase. Capitals feel sturdy and slightly condensed in impression, while the lowercase shows livelier curves, a single-storey “a,” and a traditional italic construction with flowing joins and angled cross-strokes. Numerals are strong and readable, with curving forms and clear weight hierarchy that matches the text rhythm.

Well suited to editorial typography—magazine features, book titles, section heads, and pull quotes—where a classic serif voice with strong emphasis is desired. It also works for formal branding moments such as invitations, certificates, and packaging that benefits from a traditional, authoritative italic texture.

The overall tone is traditional and polished, evoking book typography and established editorial voices. Its energetic italic movement adds a sense of emphasis and ceremony, reading as confident and slightly dramatic without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended as a conventional text-serif italic with heightened contrast and a robust color, balancing classic bookish forms with assertive weight for emphasis and display use. Its construction suggests a focus on familiar, readable shapes while preserving the expressive motion associated with italic calligraphy.

Counters are relatively compact and the joins are firm, creating a dense, ink-trap-free color that holds together well at display sizes. The italic angle is noticeable but controlled, and the spacing appears even, supporting continuous reading while still delivering a punchy, emphatic texture.
