A high-contrast serif with a crisp, chiseled feel and subtly flared stroke endings that broaden into the terminals. Serifs are bracketed and sharply finished, with pointed joins and tapered curves that create a lively light–dark rhythm across text. Uppercase forms are stately and somewhat wide, with strong verticals and smoothly swelling bowls; diagonals and arms end in knife-like, calligraphic terminals. Lowercase maintains a traditional, bookish structure with compact counters, a two-storey “a,” and a “g” that reads sturdy and rounded, giving the face a confident texture at display sizes.

Best suited to headlines, decks, and pull quotes where its contrast and crisp terminals can read cleanly and add personality. It also works well for magazine mastheads, luxury-leaning branding, and packaging systems that want a classic serif voice with extra bite.

The overall tone is polished and assertive—classic in structure but with enough sharpness and contrast to feel modern and editorial. It conveys authority and sophistication, with a slightly dramatic, fashion-forward edge when set large.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a classical serif: traditional proportions and readability cues paired with pronounced contrast and flared, sharpened terminals for impactful display typography.

In running sample text, the contrast and pointed terminals produce a distinctive sparkle, especially in mixed-case headlines. Numerals appear lining and similarly high-contrast, matching the sharp, tailored character of the letters.
