A heavy, inked display face with irregular, torn-looking contours and softly lumpy stroke edges. Letterforms are compact and sturdy, with uneven curves, wobbly straight segments, and occasional inward bites that create a blotted, eroded silhouette. Counters are small and inconsistent, and terminals tend to end in blunt, ragged tips rather than clean cuts, producing a noisy texture across words. The overall rhythm is intentionally uneven, with subtle width and shape variation that reads like stamped or smeared ink rather than precision-drawn outlines.

Best suited to short headlines and title treatments where texture is a feature, such as Halloween promotions, horror and thriller title cards, haunted-attraction signage, and game or streaming artwork. It can also add grit to branding elements like logos, badges, and packaging where an intentionally rough, ominous voice is desired.

The texture and rough silhouettes give an ominous, unsettling tone—suggestive of decay, grime, and something hand-made under pressure. Its jittery, imperfect edges feel anxious and cinematic, leaning into a pulpy, haunted atmosphere rather than elegance or neutrality.

The design appears intended to mimic distressed ink or degraded print—combining sturdy, readable skeletons with roughened edges to deliver atmosphere. It prioritizes character and texture over typographic refinement, aiming for immediate impact in display settings.

In the sample text, the dense black mass and ragged perimeter create strong presence at larger sizes, while the rough interior shapes can make small sizes feel busier. The irregularity is consistent enough to feel like a deliberate treatment, with repeated edge wobble and blotting that unify the set.
