A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stress, combining hefty stems with very thin hairlines and serifs. The serifs are sharp and relatively unbracketed, producing crisp, knife-like terminals. Proportions are generous and open, with broad bowls and a confident, upright stance; counters remain readable even at heavy weight due to the pronounced contrast. The lowercase shows sturdy, compact forms with small, precise details (notably in the ear/terminals and the ball-like dots), while numerals follow the same dramatic thick–thin rhythm for a cohesive texture in headlines.

Best suited to large-scale settings where the contrast and sharp serifs can shine: magazine headlines, editorial titling, posters, and brand marks. It can also work for short display passages or pull quotes, especially where a refined, high-impact serif is desired.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical while still feeling rooted in traditional book and magazine typography. Its sharp contrast and clean finishing give it a polished, premium character, suggesting seriousness and authority with a fashion-forward edge.

The font appears designed to deliver maximum headline impact through exaggerated contrast and crisp serif detailing, while maintaining recognizable classical proportions. It aims to project sophistication and authority, pairing traditional serif structure with a more dramatic, contemporary punch.

The design’s visual rhythm is driven by dominant verticals and carefully controlled thin strokes, creating striking light–dark patterning in lines of text. Round letters read as sculpted and weighty, and pointed joins and tapered terminals add a slightly formal, editorial bite.
