A calligraphic serif with bracketed, slightly flared serifs and tapered stroke endings that give the letters a subtly handmade edge. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and an irregular inked texture in places, with terminals that often finish in sharp wedges or small spur-like hooks. Proportions feel traditionally bookish: moderate x-height, generous counters, and a rhythm that alternates between sturdy verticals and lively, angled joins. Numerals and capitals maintain the same chiseled, lightly roughened finishing, creating a cohesive, print-like color on the page.

Well-suited for long-form reading in books, editorial layouts, and literary packaging where a classic, human feel is desired. It also works effectively for titles, chapter heads, and brand marks that benefit from an antique or craft-printed impression, as well as formal stationery when a traditional serif is preferred over a pristine modern cut.

The font conveys a historical, literary tone—evoking early book typography and hand-pressed printing with a warm, human touch. Its lively modulation and slightly rough contours read as artisanal and traditional rather than clinical or geometric.

The design appears intended to recreate the warmth of traditional serif typography with visible calligraphic influence and a slightly rough, inked finish. It prioritizes an organic reading rhythm and period-leaning character, aiming for authenticity and texture in both display and text settings.

Spacing appears comfortable for continuous reading, and the texture becomes especially apparent at larger sizes where the uneven stroke edges and wedge terminals contribute character. The overall impression is consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, with a distinctly calligraphic flow rather than strict mechanical repetition.
