A monospaced serif design with chunky, bracket-like terminals and softly flared strokes that echo typewriter letterforms. The outlines are intentionally irregular, with wobbly curves, uneven ink spread, and intermittent nicks and bulges along stems and bowls. Counters stay fairly open, but the texture creates a peppered, worn rhythm across lines, especially in vertical strokes and rounded forms. Numerals and capitals maintain consistent cell-fit spacing, reinforcing the mechanical, grid-like cadence despite the distressed drawing.

Works well for headlines, posters, and title treatments where a distressed typewriter feel supports the message—mystery, crime, horror, archival, or underground themes. It can also be effective for short blocks of text (pull quotes, labels, UI headers) when you want a textured, analog voice without losing the steady spacing of a monospaced face.

The overall tone feels archival and gritty, like a photocopied document, weathered signage, or an old report pulled from a file drawer. The rough ink texture adds tension and atmosphere, lending a slightly ominous, noir-leaning character while still reading as familiar typewritten text.

Likely designed to evoke typewritten typography while adding a controlled, worn-print texture for mood and authenticity. The goal appears to be cinematic atmosphere and retro-document realism, delivered through monospaced structure paired with distressed outlines.

Distress is applied consistently across the set rather than as random damage, producing a cohesive “inked” surface that remains legible at display sizes. The most distinctive effect is the combination of strict monospaced rhythm with visibly degraded edges, which creates a deliberate contrast between mechanical structure and imperfect printing.
