A refined serif with pronounced stroke contrast and crisp, flared terminals that read as subtly sculpted rather than blunt. Serifs are bracketed and lively, with sharp apexes and clean joins that give the letterforms a polished, bookish rhythm. Uppercase proportions feel generous and stately, while the lowercase shows a conventional, readable structure with open counters and carefully tapered strokes. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with clear silhouettes and elegant curves that match the text color in running copy.

Well suited for editorial applications such as book typography, magazine layouts, and long-form reading where a classic serif voice is desired. It also performs well in display settings—headlines, pull quotes, and brand marks—where its high-contrast rhythm and flared finishing can add polish and gravitas.

The overall tone is classic and editorial, projecting authority and composure with a slightly calligraphic, engraved flavor. It feels at home in traditional, cultured contexts—more literary and institutional than playful—while the crisp contrast adds a sense of sophistication.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif reading experience with elevated contrast and expressive, flared finishing for a more distinctive, premium tone. It balances familiar text-model construction with sharpened detailing to remain legible while still feeling curated and elegant.

In the sample text, the strong thick–thin modulation creates a bright, refined texture at larger sizes, with sharp terminals and small details becoming more prominent as the point size increases. The flaring at stroke ends and the tapered diagonals give many characters a gently dynamic, carved quality without leaning into overt ornament.
