A high-contrast serif with a pronounced vertical axis, crisp hairline serifs, and strong thick–thin modulation. The capitals feel stately and slightly condensed in posture, with clean, sharp finishing and minimal bracketing at the serifs. Lowercase forms maintain a measured, bookish rhythm with a relatively small x-height and clear, open counters; round letters show teardrop-like joins and finely tapered strokes. Numerals and punctuation match the same engraved, razor-edged logic, giving the set a consistent, polished texture in text and display sizes.

Well suited to magazine and newspaper-style headlines, fashion and cultural editorial layouts, and premium branding where contrast and elegance are assets. It can also serve book covers, invitations, and pull quotes, especially when set with generous leading and careful reproduction to preserve the hairlines.

The overall tone is refined and editorial, projecting a sense of luxury and tradition. Its sharp contrast and elegant hairlines evoke fashion mastheads, classical publishing, and formal printed matter rather than casual or utilitarian UI contexts.

The letterforms suggest an intention to deliver a modern Didone-like refinement: dramatic contrast, clean vertical emphasis, and crisp detailing for sophisticated display typography that still holds together in short text settings.

The design’s thin horizontals and delicate serifs create a bright, sparkling page color at larger sizes, while the heavier verticals keep word shapes anchored. Spacing appears even and deliberate, supporting a composed, high-end typographic voice.
