A heavy, high-impact display face with irregular, flame-like spikes and ragged silhouettes that break the outlines of each letter. Strokes are thick but uneven, with abrupt notches, burrs, and occasional interior voids that create a distressed, eaten-away texture. Curves and counters are simplified and sometimes partially clogged, while terminals end in sharp, hooked points that vary from glyph to glyph. The overall rhythm is intentionally inconsistent, giving the alphabet a hand-torched, organic edge rather than a clean geometric build.

Best suited for short, bold lines such as posters, event promos, title screens, packaging callouts, or branding where a distressed horror tone is desired. It works especially well when set with generous tracking and ample size, and can be paired with a plain sans or serif for supporting text.

The texture and thorny terminals push a tense, horror-leaning mood—like scorched signage, creeping shadows, or a creaturely scratch. It reads as theatrical and attention-grabbing, with a gritty, B-movie sensibility that favors atmosphere over refinement.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediate “uneasy” signal through exaggerated silhouette damage—spikes, bites, and drips—while keeping familiar letter structures so headlines remain readable. Its emphasis is on texture and mood, providing a ready-made distressed effect without additional graphic treatment.

Legibility holds best at larger sizes where the spiky contour detail can be appreciated; in smaller settings the roughened edges and partially filled counters can visually merge. The figures follow the same distressed logic, matching the alphabet’s aggressive, uneven surface.
