A heavy serif design with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sculpted, flared stroke endings. Serifs are strongly bracketed and often wedge-like, with triangular joins and chiseled inner corners that create a crisp, carved rhythm. Curves (C, G, S, O) show compact apertures and firm, taut bowls, while round letters and numerals include noticeable ball-like terminals and teardrop shapes in places. The lowercase has sturdy, slightly compact forms with a single-storey a and g, a deep-shouldered r, and a t with a short, assertive crossbar; counters remain relatively small due to the weight, keeping the overall color dense and punchy.

Best suited for large sizes where the contrast, bracketing, and distinctive terminals can be appreciated—such as headlines, cover typography, editorial titling, and brand marks. It can also work for short subheads or pull quotes where a dense, classical serif voice is desired.

The tone is confident and traditional, leaning toward an old-world editorial feel with a dramatic, display-forward presence. Its sculpted terminals and high contrast add a sense of formality and craft, evoking engraved or print-era signage rather than a neutral text face.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened drama and visual authority, using flared stroke endings and carved interior shaping to add character and a crafted, print-like texture.

In the samples, the strong weight and tight internal spaces give lines a dark, continuous texture; the lively terminals and bracketing prevent it from feeling purely geometric. Numerals are similarly robust and stylized, matching the letterforms’ carved, flare-ended logic.
