A high-contrast serif with a strong vertical axis, sturdy main stems, and very thin hairlines that create a crisp light–dark rhythm. Serifs are sharp and relatively unbracketed, giving the forms a clean, cut look rather than a soft, calligraphic one. Capitals are broad and stately with prominent crossbars and clear triangular joins (notably in A and W), while the lowercase shows compact counters, pronounced stroke modulation, and occasional ball-like terminals and teardrop finishes. The numerals follow the same contrast pattern, with curved figures showing fine connecting strokes and sturdy verticals for a distinctly typographic, print-oriented texture.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and display sizes where the contrast and sharp serifs can read cleanly and deliver impact. It also works well for editorial titling, book covers, and premium brand systems that want a classic serif voice with strong typographic contrast. For longer text, it will favor comfortable sizes and good printing conditions due to the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, projecting confidence and formality with a slightly dramatic edge from the strong contrast. It feels suited to established institutions and polished publishing contexts—serious, refined, and attention-grabbing without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a traditional high-contrast serif: authoritative capitals, a compact and energetic lowercase, and a polished finish that emphasizes crispness and hierarchy in editorial and branding layouts.

In text, the tight apertures and compact interior spaces create a dense, high-ink color, while the hairline connections add sparkle at larger sizes. The italic is not shown; the style presented reads as a straight, upright roman with a notably emphatic presence in headings.
