A monospaced serif design with compact, typewriter-like proportions and soft, blunted terminals. Strokes show subtle irregularity and slight swelling, creating an inked, worn impression rather than perfectly clean geometry. Serifs are slab-like and rounded at the corners, with generally even rhythm and consistent set width across characters. Counters are moderately open, and curves (notably in C, G, O, and e) keep a firm, slightly squarish tension that reinforces the mechanical feel.

Well-suited to designs that want an authentic typed texture: stationery-style layouts, editorial pull quotes, captions, packaging labels, and retro posters. It can also work for short-to-medium passages where a monospaced, document-like voice is desired and a hint of wear adds atmosphere.

The overall tone is vintage and workmanlike, evoking typed documents, labels, and practical ephemera. The gently distressed edges add a human, tactile character—more shop-worn than polished—giving text a candid, archival voice.

The design appears intended to capture the visual behavior of mechanical typing—fixed character width, sturdy slab serifs, and slightly imperfect inking—while remaining readable and consistent in longer text settings. The softened terminals and mild roughness suggest an aim toward authenticity and warmth rather than pristine precision.

The numerals and lowercase maintain the same blunt, stamped quality as the caps, supporting an even texture in longer passages. The dot on i/j reads as a solid, inked mark, and the punctuation in the sample text keeps the same softened, slightly battered edges, helping the face feel cohesive in running copy.
