A heavy, expansive serif with flared stroke endings and subtly bracketed, wedge-like terminals. The letterforms have broad proportions and a strong horizontal presence, with sturdy stems and moderate thick–thin modulation that reads clearly at large sizes. Serifs and terminals feel sculpted rather than mechanical, producing a crisp, slightly calligraphic edge without visible slant. Counters stay open for the weight, and the overall rhythm is spacious, with confident spacing and prominent top/bottom features in capitals.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and short passages where its width and weight can be used for emphasis. It works well for magazine/editorial layouts, poster typography, and brand identities that want a classic serif voice with extra impact. For packaging or titles, it can carry a premium, established feel while remaining highly legible at display sizes.

The tone is bold and declarative, combining a traditional serif gravity with a modern, high-impact silhouette. It feels institutional and editorial—more headline-forward than quiet text—projecting confidence, seriousness, and a polished, print-like authority.

The design appears intended to deliver a robust, attention-grabbing serif for display typography, blending traditional proportions with distinctive flared terminals to increase presence and personality. It aims for readability at large sizes while using sculpted endings and broad forms to create a memorable, authoritative word shape.

Capitals appear especially stable and monumental, with strong verticals and emphatic terminals that give words a chiseled profile. In the sample text, the wide set and heavy color create immediate presence, while the flared ends add warmth and crafted character compared to a purely transitional or Didone approach.
