A delicate italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a clear diagonal stress. Serifs are small and bracketed, with sharp, tapered entry strokes and finely cut terminals that give the outlines a crisp, engraved feel. The capitals are gently slanted and relatively open, while the lowercase shows flowing, calligraphic joins and varied stroke endings; counters remain clear despite the slender hairlines. Numerals appear oldstyle with noticeable ascenders/descenders, matching the text rhythm and maintaining a consistent, refined color.

Well suited to editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, introductions, pull quotes, and elegant subheads. It also fits literary titling and formal printed materials such as invitations or programs, where a refined, traditional tone is desired.

The font conveys a cultured, bookish elegance—more poetic than technical—suggesting tradition, finesse, and editorial polish. Its high-contrast italics lend a sense of ceremony and emphasis, suitable for sophisticated, classical settings.

The design appears intended to provide a graceful, classical italic companion for text-driven work, prioritizing contrast, clarity of form, and an expressive, calligraphic rhythm. It aims to read as traditional and premium, adding nuance and hierarchy without resorting to decorative gimmicks.

Stroke contrast is strong enough that the lightest horizontals and serifs become visually prominent features, especially at smaller sizes or on low-resolution output. The italic construction is assertive, with lively curved strokes (notably in the s, f, g, and y) that create an animated, handwritten cadence without becoming informal.
