A heavy, high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress and sharply tapered hairlines. Serifs are bracketed and sculpted, with wedge-like feet and crisp head serifs that give strokes a carved, engraved feel. Curves on letters like C, S, and G show strong thick–thin modulation, while several lowercase forms (a, e, g) use teardrop/ball terminals that add a slightly ornamental finish. Overall proportions feel sturdy and traditional, with compact counters and an energetic rhythm created by the dramatic contrast and tight joins.

Best suited for display typography where contrast and sculpted serifs can be appreciated: headlines, pull quotes, magazine and newspaper features, book and album covers, and bold brand wordmarks. It can also work for short text passages in print-oriented layouts when used with generous spacing and comfortable sizes.

The font reads as formal and editorial, projecting authority and tradition with a touch of theatrical flair. Its high-contrast modeling and refined terminals evoke classic print typography—confident, serious, and attention-grabbing—more suited to statement-setting than quiet neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, print-centric serif voice with heightened contrast for impact. It balances conventional, readable structures with decorative terminal finishing to create a strong, recognizable presence in titles and prominent editorial settings.

Uppercase forms are stately and emphatic, especially in the round letters (O, Q) and the broad, weighty diagonals of V/W. Numerals are similarly assertive, with clear shaping and strong contrast that matches the letterforms. At larger sizes the detailing in the brackets and terminals becomes a defining character feature.
