A heavy display serif with pronounced wedge-like terminals and distinctive triangular cut-ins that read like ink traps or stencil-like notches. The letterforms are compact and forceful, with broad, dark stems and rounded bowls that are repeatedly “bitten” by sharp diagonals, creating a rhythmic pattern of black masses and bright interior voids. Serifs are assertive and often taper to points, while joins and apexes (as in A, V, W, and Y) are crisp and angular. Lowercase forms keep a sturdy, oldstyle-like structure with short ascenders/descenders and prominent wedge terminals, maintaining a consistent, sculpted texture across text.

Best suited for headlines and short blocks of text where its carved details remain clear—magazine titles, posters, book covers, packaging, and branding marks. It can also work for pull quotes or section openers when used with generous spacing and sufficient size to preserve the sharp interior cuts.

The overall tone is bold and declarative, balancing classical serif cues with a modern, cut-paper sharpness. The repeated notches add drama and visual tension, giving the face a stylized, slightly theatrical personality suited to attention-grabbing settings rather than neutral reading.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional serif into a striking display voice by introducing consistent triangular cut-ins and pointed wedge terminals. This approach boosts visual rhythm and individuality while keeping familiar serif proportions for immediate legibility in large-scale settings.

In the sample text, the dense color and frequent triangular interruptions create a distinctive sparkle at larger sizes, especially in curved letters like C, G, O, Q, and S. Numerals and capitals carry the same carved motif, producing a cohesive, poster-ready look with strong silhouette recognition.
