This is a serif face with subtly flared stroke endings and softly bracketed terminals that give the letters an organic, gently calligraphic build. Strokes show moderate contrast, with round characters staying open and smooth rather than razor-sharp, and capitals keeping a composed, bookish presence. The lowercase has a traditional, oldstyle rhythm with a two-storey “g,” a modestly angled stress in rounded forms, and a slightly lively, uneven texture that reads as hand-informed rather than purely geometric. Numerals follow the same restrained, slightly tapered logic, with clear shapes and calm proportions suited to running text.

It is well suited to editorial and book typography where a classic serif voice and comfortable reading texture are priorities. The distinctive flared terminals also make it a good option for tasteful branding, headings, and pull quotes where a traditional but personable tone is desired.

The overall tone feels traditional and literary, with a warm, human cadence. Its flared endings and softened transitions add a subtle elegance, suggesting heritage and craft without becoming ornamental or formal to the point of stiffness.

The design appears intended to bridge classic text-serif conventions with a hint of calligraphic flair, using tapered, flared endings to add warmth and character while keeping a stable, readable structure.

In the text sample, the face maintains a steady color and comfortable spacing, producing an inviting paragraph texture. The capitals are clear and dignified, while the lowercase carries most of the personality through tapered terminals and gently varied stroke joins.
