A strongly inked serif with compact proportions and lively, irregular contours. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin contrast and a visibly textured edge, as if printed from worn type or drawn with a dry, loaded pen. Serifs are small to moderate and often wedge-like, with terminals that look slightly chipped or tapered rather than mechanically crisp. The rhythm is energetic, with subtle inconsistencies in curves and joins that create a handmade, distressed impression while keeping overall forms recognizable and sturdy.

Best suited to headlines, posters, and cover work where a distressed, inked texture is an asset. It can also support short editorial passages or pull quotes when a vintage print feel is desired, but will be most effective when given room and used in moderate-length settings rather than dense body copy.

The font conveys an aged, tactile tone—part old printing, part hand-inked—suggesting grit, authenticity, and a hint of theatrical drama. Its dark color and rough finish feel emphatic and historic, evoking letterpress posters, folk ephemera, and narrative titling.

The design appears intended to mimic the character of aged, imperfect printing and calligraphic influence—combining classic serif structure with roughened outlines and strong contrast to create a bold, expressive voice for display typography.

At text sizes the texture and heavy color dominate, producing strong presence but a deliberately imperfect finish; spacing appears fairly open, helping counters stay readable despite the weight. The figures share the same worn, ink-pressed character, reinforcing a cohesive display-oriented texture across letters and numerals.
