A sculptural display serif with sharply tapered, flared terminals and pronounced contrast between thick verticals and hairline joins. The letterforms are broadly proportioned with generous interior space, while serifs read as softened wedges that blend into stems rather than ending abruptly. Curves (C, G, O, S) are full and weighty, with crisp, fine entry/exit strokes that create a lively, engraved-like rhythm. Lowercase features a single-storey a and g, rounded bowls, and compact joins that emphasize the dark, patterned texture in text; numerals are robust and stylistically aligned with the same flared finishing and strong thick–thin modulation.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and book display typography, campaign posters, and brand identities that benefit from a premium, classic voice. It can work for short passages or pull quotes where its strong contrast and flared detailing can be set with comfortable size and spacing.

The font conveys a confident, editorial tone—formal and luxurious with a touch of theatrical flair. Its sharp hairlines and swelling terminals suggest tradition and craft, while the broad stance and dense color feel assertive and contemporary for headlines.

The design appears intended to deliver a refined, high-impact serif for display use, combining traditional high-contrast construction with distinctive flared endings to create a recognizable, upscale signature.

In the sample text the spacing and heavy vertical emphasis create a bold typographic color, with punctuation and the ampersand matching the same tapered, calligraphic energy. The design favors impact and character over neutrality, especially at larger sizes where the fine terminals and contrast are most legible.
