A compact slab-serif with heavy, blunt terminals and visibly roughened outlines that mimic worn letterpress or ink bleed. Strokes are sturdy with moderate contrast, and the serifs read as squared, slightly flared blocks rather than sharp brackets. Edges wobble and chip consistently across the set, with occasional interior nicks that add texture while preserving clear silhouettes. Letterspacing feels tight and the overall rhythm is dense and punchy, especially in mixed-case text.

Best suited for display applications where the distressed texture can be appreciated: posters, event or gig graphics, rustic branding, and product packaging that aims for a handcrafted or heritage feel. It can work for short subheads or pull quotes, but extended small-size text may lose clarity as the rough edges visually thicken.

The font conveys a weathered, workmanlike tone—part old poster, part stamped label. Its distressed finish adds a gritty authenticity that suggests age, grit, and tactility rather than polish. The overall impression is bold and assertive, with a rustic, frontier-leaning character.

The design appears intended to simulate imperfect printing—like worn wood type or a repeatedly stamped mark—while maintaining the familiar structure of a classic slab-serif. The goal seems to be strong readability at a glance paired with a convincingly aged, tactile surface.

Lowercase forms stay sturdy and straightforward, with simple bowls and short ascenders that keep the texture from becoming overly delicate. Numerals share the same worn treatment and read well at display sizes, where the chips and irregularities become a defining feature. The distressed effect is consistent enough to feel intentional, not random noise.
