This is a refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a predominantly vertical axis. Serifs are bracketed and sharply defined, with occasional flare and tapered finishing that gives stems a sculpted, calligraphic feel. Proportions are compact and somewhat condensed, with tall capitals and relatively restrained lowercase widths, creating a tight, rhythmic texture in words. Several lowercase forms show distinctive terminals—most notably ball/teardrop endings and curled hooks—adding decorative detail without becoming overly ornate. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with strong verticals and elegant, tapered curves.

Well suited to editorial headlines, magazine typography, and book-cover titling where its contrast and tight rhythm can feel deliberate and upscale. It can also work for branding in fashion, beauty, or hospitality contexts that benefit from a classic serif with a slightly decorative edge. For longer reading, it will be most comfortable at moderate sizes and in well-spaced layouts that preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone feels formal and editorial, with a hint of old-world sophistication. Its sharp contrast and tailored proportions evoke tradition and authority, while the curled and ball-terminal details add a slightly theatrical, boutique character.

The design appears intended to offer a traditional, high-contrast serif voice with added personality through distinctive terminal shaping. It aims to balance classical refinement with subtle decorative gestures, providing a recognizable display texture while remaining usable for short-form text.

In continuous text, the type produces a dark, crisp color with noticeable internal sparkle from the thin hairlines, so it reads best when given sufficient size and clean reproduction. The distinctive terminals on letters like j, y, and some lowercase curves create recognizable personality that stands out in headlines and short passages.
