A rough, ink-textured roman with visibly broken contours and uneven stroke edges, as if printed from a worn plate or rendered with a dry marker. Strokes maintain a fairly steady overall thickness, but the perimeter chatter and occasional nicks create constant micro-variation, especially on curves and terminals. The letterforms are mostly simple and sturdy with modest rounding and minimal ornament, while counters can appear slightly constricted by the distressed texture. Spacing reads moderately open in caps and tighter in lowercase, and the numerals follow the same rugged, slightly uneven silhouette.

Well suited to display use where a tactile, worn look is desired—posters, album or event graphics, packaging and labels, and bold editorial headlines. It can also work for short bursts of body text when the goal is an intentionally rough, zine-like texture, though the edge noise will be more apparent in long reading settings.

The font projects a rugged, imperfect tone—earthy and analog rather than polished. Its distressed surface suggests age, friction, and physical production, giving text a gritty, lived-in character that feels casual and assertive.

The design appears intended to deliver familiar, readable letterforms while adding a strong distressed layer for immediate atmosphere. It prioritizes a consistent, rugged texture that evokes aged printing or hand-inked abrasion, making otherwise straightforward shapes feel more expressive and thematic.

At text sizes the texture becomes a dominant feature, adding visual noise and a stamped/printed impression; at larger sizes the irregular edges read as deliberate abrasion and give headings strong personality. The distressed effect is consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and figures, helping mixed-case settings feel cohesive.
