A monoline, upright design with a typewriter-inspired skeleton and deliberately rough, broken edges. Strokes keep fairly consistent thickness, but the outline is irregular and granular, as if stamped with worn ink or printed on coarse paper. The uppercase is compact and sturdy, while the lowercase maintains a straightforward, utilitarian structure with simple terminals and minimal modulation. Figures are clear and workmanlike, with the same distressed perimeter treatment that gives the set a unified, eroded texture.

Well-suited to display applications where texture and atmosphere are part of the message—posters, album and podcast artwork, book covers, packaging, and title treatments. It can also work for short editorial callouts or pull quotes when you want an aged, printed feel, while longer passages benefit from generous size and leading to offset the added edge texture.

The overall tone feels gritty and analog, evoking worn documents, photocopies, and imperfect mechanical printing. Its roughness reads as intentional and expressive, adding a handmade, DIY energy while staying legible.

Designed to combine a familiar, utilitarian typewriter-like structure with a controlled distressed finish, producing an authentic printed-imperfection look without sacrificing basic readability. The intention appears to be adding character and grit to otherwise straightforward letterforms.

The distress is applied consistently across letters and numerals, creating an even “ink bite” effect rather than random damage. Spacing and rhythm remain relatively steady in running text, but the textured edges add visual noise that becomes more prominent at smaller sizes or on low-contrast backgrounds.
