A stately serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a clearly vertical stress. The letterforms are broad and generously proportioned, with crisp, fine serifs and sharp, clean terminals that create a bright, high-contrast texture. Curves are smooth and full, counters are open, and several glyphs show small ball-like terminals (notably in the lowercase), adding a slightly ornamental finish without becoming decorative. Spacing reads even and confident, producing a dense, emphatic rhythm in text.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, deck copy, magazine and newspaper features, book covers, and poster work where its contrast and breadth can command attention. It can also serve for pull quotes and titling in branded editorial systems that aim for a traditional, premium voice.

The overall tone is formal and editorial, projecting authority and a classic, establishment feel. Its dramatic contrast and broad stance give it a luxurious, headline-forward presence, while the restrained detailing keeps it composed rather than playful.

The font appears designed to deliver a classic serif authority with heightened drama: wide proportions, vertical stress, and refined hairlines aimed at strong editorial presence. Subtle ornamental terminals suggest an intention to feel elegant and crafted while remaining broadly usable for contemporary display typography.

The design’s wide capitals and strong horizontals make it particularly impactful at larger sizes, where the hairline elements can be appreciated. In paragraphs, the contrast and fine detailing emphasize a punchy, high-end texture that favors display settings and carefully managed reproduction.
