This serif features sharply tapered, high-contrast strokes with crisp, bracketed serifs and frequent ball-like terminals that give many letters a distinctive hooked finish. The rhythm is lively: stems feel sturdy while hairlines and entry/exit strokes narrow quickly, creating a pronounced thick–thin pattern. Proportions are fairly traditional, with slightly narrow uppercase forms and a lowercase that keeps counters open while using pronounced curves and finishing strokes. Numerals and capitals share the same sculpted detailing, producing a coherent, ornamental texture in both display and text settings.

It performs best in headlines, titles, and short passages where the contrast and terminal detailing can be appreciated. It can also suit book covers, editorial display typography, and premium branding or event materials where a classical, ornamental serif is desirable.

The overall tone reads classic and formal, with a slightly theatrical, storybook elegance. Its decorative terminals and strong contrast add a refined, old-world flavor that feels suited to cultured, curated typography rather than purely utilitarian reading.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional high-contrast serif with added flourish—using ball terminals, curled endings, and crisp serifs to deliver a more decorative, characterful voice while retaining familiar, readable proportions.

The font’s signature comes from the repeated teardrop/ball terminals and curled finishing strokes, which create a recognizable silhouette in words. In larger sizes, the sharp hairlines and sculpted joins become a key visual feature, giving headings a distinctive, engraved-like presence.
