This serif displays pronounced thick–thin modulation with vertical stress and extremely fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and delicate with minimal bracketing, and many joins resolve into tapered points that heighten the crisp, cut-paper feel. Uppercase forms are stately and high-waisted, with narrow internal apertures and strong, straight verticals contrasted by thin, sweeping curves; the W and V are angular and commanding. Lowercase follows with a more calligraphic rhythm—noticeable in the single-storey a and g, the teardrop terminals, and the long, clean ascenders—while maintaining a consistent, polished cadence across text. Numerals and punctuation echo the same contrast and precision, with slender diagonals and fine cross-strokes that read best at display sizes.

Best suited to high-impact headlines, magazine covers, and editorial titling where the extreme contrast can be showcased. It also fits luxury branding, beauty and fragrance packaging, and sophisticated poster work. For longer passages, it will typically perform better in large sizes and high-quality printing or high-resolution digital contexts where hairline details remain visible.

The overall tone is luxurious and high-drama, evoking fashion mastheads and premium editorial typography. Its razor-thin details and sculpted curves feel refined and cultured, leaning toward classic glamour rather than casual warmth. The contrast adds a sense of ceremony and prestige, making even short phrases feel formal and curated.

The design intent appears focused on delivering a modernized Didone-like display voice: dramatic contrast, precise hairlines, and elegant proportions for premium visual identity and editorial statement typography. It prioritizes visual flair and refinement over utilitarian small-size robustness.

In the text sample, the hairlines and thin serifs become the dominant detail, creating a shimmering texture that benefits from generous size and solid reproduction. Spacing appears relatively open for such contrast, supporting large headlines and short subheads where the crisp terminals can remain intact.
