A heavy, compact display face with tight proportions and sturdy vertical stems. Letterforms are built from simplified, blocky shapes with minimal curvature, while the outlines are aggressively roughened, creating irregular edges and occasional pitted interiors that resemble worn ink or degraded printing. Strokes stay predominantly straight and upright, with short, blunt terminals and a consistent, chiseled silhouette across capitals, lowercase, and numerals. The texture is strong enough to visibly break up counters and joins, giving the set an intentionally battered, tactile rhythm.

Works best for headlines and short bursts of copy where the distressed texture can read as a deliberate graphic element—posters, title cards, event promos, packaging labels, and album or book covers. It can also serve as a secondary accent in branding systems that want a rugged, printed-on-paper feel, especially when paired with a cleaner companion for body text.

The overall tone is gritty and weathered, evoking utilitarian signage, stamped lettering, and aged print ephemera. Its distressed texture adds tension and drama, pushing the voice toward rugged, industrial, and slightly ominous styling rather than clean modern neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, attention-grabbing voice while simulating the imperfections of worn printing or rugged application. Its compact, straightforward construction prioritizes impact and legibility at display sizes, with the distressed surface providing character and atmosphere.

At text sizes the rough contour becomes a dominant feature, causing small counters (especially in tight letters) to darken and sometimes partially close. The numerals match the same stout construction and worn edge treatment, maintaining a cohesive, poster-forward color.
