This typeface is built from compact, squared-off forms with softened corners and heavy, even strokes. Serifs are present but unconventional: small, wedge-like and notched terminals appear on many stems, giving the contours a machined, cut-in feel rather than a calligraphic one. Counters tend to be rectangular or rounded-rectangular (notably in C, O, e), and several joins show deliberate corner carving or ink-trap-like notches that keep shapes open at tight internal angles. The lowercase is sturdy and slightly condensed in rhythm, with a single-storey a and g, and short, blocky ascenders/descenders that reinforce a dense texture in text.

Best suited to display settings where impact and personality are priorities: posters, headlines, labels, and packaging. It also fits signage and branding systems that want a rugged, retro-industrial voice, especially when set with generous tracking or in short phrases.

The overall tone reads tough and utilitarian, with a vintage, sign-painter or workwear flavor. Its squared geometry and carved terminals evoke industrial labeling and athletic or collegiate graphics, while the notched detailing adds a decorative edge without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended to combine classic serif signaling with a modernized, engineered construction—prioritizing bold silhouette recognition, compact spacing, and distinctive cut-in terminals that read clearly at larger sizes.

Capitals are wide-shouldered and steady, and the numerals follow the same squared logic, producing strong, uniform silhouettes. In longer lines, the texture is dark and assertive, with distinctive terminal shapes providing character at display sizes.
