This italic serif shows pronounced calligraphic construction with strong thick–thin modulation and tapered stroke endings. Serifs are delicate and largely bracketed, often resolving into sharp, flowing terminals rather than flat slabs. The italic angle is assertive, with lively entry/exit strokes and a consistent, rhythmic slant across caps, lowercase, and figures. Counters are moderately open and the forms feel slightly variable in footprint, giving lines a natural, handwritten cadence without becoming script-like.

Well-suited to editorial typography—magazines, book interiors, essays, and pull quotes—where an italic voice is needed with clarity and sophistication. It can also serve effectively in refined branding, packaging, and invitations, especially for short to medium text that benefits from a classic, expressive cadence.

The overall tone is cultured and expressive—more poetic than utilitarian. It conveys a sense of tradition and refinement, with a gentle, human warmth that reads as editorial and literary rather than corporate or technical.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, humanist italic with clear calligraphic roots: elegant modulation, controlled proportions, and a lively rhythm that adds personality while remaining readable in continuous text.

Capitals are poised and slightly narrow in feel, pairing well with the energetic lowercase that features prominent curves and occasional swooping terminals (notably in letters like g, y, and z). Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, appearing crisp and formal, suited to text settings where figures should harmonize with the letterforms.
