A heavy, high-contrast serif with strong vertical stems and sharply thinned connecting strokes. The serifs read as flared and wedge-like rather than blocky, with crisp edges and little visible bracketing, producing a carved, poster-like silhouette. Counters are compact and often teardrop-shaped, and several letters show small notches/ink-trap-like cut-ins at joins and inside corners that sharpen the rhythm at large sizes. Lowercase features a tall x-height with prominent ascenders and deep, curved descenders; terminals frequently end in rounded bulbs or small curls (notably in g, j, y), adding ornamental movement without becoming fully script-like.

Best used for large-scale typography where the high contrast and distinctive terminals can be appreciated: headlines, editorial display, book and magazine covers, theatrical posters, and bold packaging labels. It can also work for short pull quotes or brand marks where a classic-but-flamboyant serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is bold and declarative, mixing classical serif formality with a slightly playful, showcard flair. Its tight counters, sharp contrast, and animated terminals give it a theatrical, attention-grabbing voice that feels suited to statements and headlines rather than quiet reading.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a traditional serif foundation, combining dramatic contrast and flared serifs with a few ornamental, curled terminals to create a memorable display texture.

The typeface shows noticeable width variation and strong personality in a few key glyphs (such as the swashy g and y), while the caps remain more stately and architectural. Numerals are similarly weighty and compact, matching the dense color of the text block and reinforcing a poster/cover-ready texture.
