A narrow, old-style serif with modest contrast and deliberately roughened contours that mimic worn ink or letterpress bite. Strokes show subtle wobble and uneven terminals, with small bracketed serifs and slightly bouncy spacing that keeps the texture lively. The lowercase is compact with a short x-height, while ascenders and capitals feel tall and slightly condensed; numerals follow the same distressed, print-worn rhythm for a consistent overall color.

Well suited to display and short-to-medium text where a tactile, aged print impression is desirable—such as book covers, posters, period-flavored editorial callouts, menus, labels, and craft-oriented branding. It can also work for headings and pull quotes when you want characterful texture without sacrificing the underlying serif readability.

The font conveys a vintage, handmade character—part print shop, part field journal—balancing legibility with a lightly unruly, imperfect finish. Its worn edges and irregularities add warmth and narrative tone, suggesting age, craft, and tactile paper texture rather than clean modern precision.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional serif typography that has been physically printed and handled—introducing controlled irregularity to suggest ink spread, wear, and analog production. It aims to provide a dependable serif skeleton with enough distress and quirks to communicate authenticity and atmosphere.

Distress is present across both counters and outer contours, creating a speckled, slightly eroded silhouette at larger sizes. The sample text shows a lively baseline and variable letterwidths that enhance the organic feel, while the serif structure keeps paragraphs readable despite the texture.
