A high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered hairlines and strong vertical stress. Serifs are finely cut and mostly wedge-like with subtle bracketing, giving terminals a crisp, carved finish. Uppercase forms feel tall and composed with generous internal space; the lowercase shows sturdy, rounded bowls and a two-storey “a,” while strokes snap from thick stems to very thin connecting lines. Numerals and capitals read stately and consistent, with a slightly variable rhythm across letters from narrow forms (like I) to broader rounds (like O) that enhances the traditional text-serif texture.

This style suits editorial headlines, magazine typography, and book-cover titling where contrast and sophistication are desirable. It also works for formal collateral such as invitations, certificates, and branding systems that need a traditional, authoritative serif presence.

The overall tone is classic and editorial, projecting formality and confidence. Its pronounced contrast and refined detailing suggest a premium, print-minded sensibility—more elegant than utilitarian, with a familiar literary voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, highly refined serif voice with strong contrast and crisp finishing—aimed at producing an elegant reading texture and commanding display typography without departing from familiar classical proportions.

At text sizes the fine hairlines and sharp joins create a bright, high-definition texture; in display settings the sculpted serifs and dramatic thick–thin transitions become the main character. The italic is not shown, and the roman stance stays steady and upright throughout the samples.
