This typeface shows strong thick–thin modulation with sturdy verticals and razor-like hairlines, producing a crisp, high-contrast texture. Serifs are flared and sculpted rather than blocky, with wedge-like feet and tapered stroke endings that give the letters a carved, calligraphic finish. Curves are compact and weighty in the bowls, while entry/exit strokes pinch tightly, creating a punchy rhythm in both uppercase and lowercase. Counters are relatively tight in heavy letters, and the overall silhouette reads confident and refined, with numerals matching the same dramatic contrast and flared detailing.

Best suited for display settings where its high-contrast strokes and flared terminals can be appreciated—magazine headlines, fashion and luxury branding, packaging, and impactful posters. It can also work for short editorial callouts or deck text when set with comfortable spacing and sufficient size to preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone feels polished and premium, combining classic bookish cues with a bold, contemporary bite. Its dramatic contrast and sharp finishing convey authority and elegance, well suited to branding that wants to feel established, upscale, and editorial.

The design appears intended to modernize traditional serif authority with sculpted, flaring terminals and pronounced contrast, creating a distinctive display voice that remains rooted in classical proportions. It prioritizes visual impact and refinement, aiming for a premium, editorial presence.

In running text at larger sizes, the heavy stems create a strong horizontal presence while the hairlines and tapered terminals add sparkle. The design’s pointed, flaring details are most noticeable in letters with diagonals and terminals (such as A, V, W, Y, and the lowercase a and e), reinforcing a chiselled, fashion-forward character.
