A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a strong vertical axis. Serifs are fine and sharp, with minimal bracketing, and many strokes taper into hairline terminals that create a crisp, engraved feel. Proportions are tall and relatively condensed, with narrow bowls and tight internal counters, while curves transition quickly into thin joins. The lowercase shows a conventional structure with a modest x-height and distinct calligraphic inflections (notably in a, e, g, and y), and figures follow the same contrasty, upright rhythm.

Best suited to headlines, pull quotes, and titling in magazines, book covers, and cultural or fashion-oriented branding where high contrast can be showcased. It can also work for short passages at generous sizes and comfortable leading, but its hairlines suggest avoiding very small text or low-resolution contexts.

The overall tone is poised and theatrical: refined enough for luxury cues, yet energetic due to the extreme contrast and lively terminals. It reads as classically rooted, with a slightly whimsical, display-leaning sharpness that adds personality without becoming informal.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-contrast serif voice: classical in structure but sharpened for contemporary display use. Its narrow, tall rhythm and hairline detailing aim to create a luxurious, attention-grabbing texture in prominent typography.

In the sample text, the thin hairlines and tight apertures make the design feel more at home at larger sizes, where its sparkle and stroke contrast can be appreciated. The capitals present a stately, formal cadence, while the lowercase introduces a more animated texture through angled joins and distinctive descenders.
