This serif shows a strongly vertical rhythm with pronounced thick–thin modulation and delicate hairlines. Serifs are sharp and fine, often with minimal bracketing, giving stems a crisp, engraved feel. Capitals read tall and sculptural with narrow joins and precise curves, while the lowercase keeps a noticeably short x-height and relies on long ascenders/descenders for texture. Bowls are smooth and controlled, counters are relatively tight in places, and overall spacing feels varied by letter, producing an energetic, slightly irregular cadence in text.

Best suited for display and editorial typography such as headlines, magazine titles, pull quotes, and book or album covers where its hairlines and contrast can remain clear. It can also work for short passages in print-like layouts when set at a size and leading that preserve its delicate details.

The tone is formal and poised, with a fashionable, high-contrast drama that suggests luxury and tradition at once. It feels suited to sophisticated, curated settings—more “printed page” than “utility”—and carries a composed, literary voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic high-contrast serif voice with refined hairlines and a stately uppercase presence, emphasizing elegance and typographic sophistication over neutrality. Its proportions and sharp finishing aim to create a distinctive, couture-like page texture for prominent text settings.

In the sample text, the high contrast and fine serifs create a crisp sparkle that rewards generous sizes and comfortable line spacing. Round letters and figures display delicate hairline connections and terminals that can appear airy, while darker letters with heavier verticals add strong emphasis, contributing to a lively typographic color.
