A slanted serif with robust, tapered strokes and distinctly flared, wedge-like terminals that read as soft, bracketed serifs. The forms show a calligraphic, diagonal stress with moderate stroke modulation and sharp, clean joins, giving the letters a lively, forward rhythm. Counters are relatively compact and the overall color is dark and even at text sizes, while curves and diagonals (notably in S, C, and the numerals) carry a pronounced, sculpted sweep. The lowercase maintains a traditional proportion with a normal x-height and slightly varied character widths that add texture and movement across a line.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, and pull quotes where a strong italic voice is needed. It also works effectively for headlines, packaging or brand marks that want a classic serif feel with extra motion and emphasis.

The tone is classic and literary, combining a formal, editorial presence with an energetic italic cadence. It feels confident and slightly dramatic, suitable for content that benefits from a refined, traditional voice rather than a neutral one.

The design appears intended as a bold, expressive italic serif that balances traditional letterform conventions with flared terminals for added personality and emphasis. Its goal seems to be delivering strong typographic color and a distinctly classical voice for display and prominent text settings.

The flared stroke endings and wedge serifs give many glyphs a chiseled, inscribed quality, while the italic slant keeps headlines and emphasis looking brisk rather than static. Numerals appear sturdy and strongly styled, matching the letterforms’ tapered strokes and directional flow.
