A warm old-style serif with modest contrast and softly bracketed serifs. Strokes show deliberate irregularity—slightly rough edges, uneven stroke termini, and subtly wobbly curves—creating an inked or printed texture rather than a sterile digital finish. Proportions feel generously set with open counters and a calm rhythm, while widths vary naturally across letters, giving the text a lively, human cadence. Numerals and capitals share the same textured, slightly weathered construction, keeping the overall color consistent in paragraphs.

Best suited to editorial typography, book covers, and printed-feeling branding where a traditional serif with visible texture adds personality. It also works well for posters, packaging, and labels that benefit from a craft or heritage impression, especially when set at medium to large sizes where the roughened details can be appreciated.

The font conveys a vintage, tactile tone—like worn letterpress type, a printed broadside, or a well-used storybook. Its gentle irregularities read as approachable and characterful, adding a handmade flavor without becoming ornate or theatrical.

The design appears intended to evoke classic old-style readability while introducing a deliberately imperfect, inked surface. It aims to balance familiar serif structure with an organic, handmade print character for expressive yet usable text and display settings.

Serifs are sturdy and rounded at joins, and many curves finish with slightly flared, ink-trap-like roughness that contributes to the distressed texture. In the sample text, the face holds together well at display and subheadline sizes, where the grain and unevenness become part of the charm.
