A calligraphic serif with noticeable stroke modulation and softly bracketed serifs that taper and flare as if drawn with a flexible nib. The outlines have a subtly irregular, hand-inked texture—edges aren’t perfectly uniform, giving the letters a lively, printed-from-type feel. Capitals are relatively broad and stately, while the lowercase is compact with a restrained x-height and clear ascenders/descenders, producing a traditional text rhythm. Curves and joins show humanist warmth rather than strict geometry, and spacing reads even in paragraphs while retaining a slightly organic bounce.

Well-suited to book interiors, long-form editorial, and pull quotes where a classic serif voice is desired with a touch of handcrafted texture. It can also work in period-inspired branding and packaging, especially when paired with restrained layouts that let the letterforms’ modulation and texture carry the mood.

The font conveys an antique, bookish tone—confident and traditional, with a tactile, crafted quality. Its gentle irregularity adds warmth and personality, suggesting archival print, classic literature, or period-leaning editorial work rather than slick modern minimalism.

The design appears intended to reinterpret an old-style, calligraphy-influenced serif for readable text while preserving the irregularities and warmth associated with traditional printing. Its goal seems to be a familiar literary color with enough character to feel distinctive in headings and short passages.

Figures and letters share the same gently uneven stroke character, so numerals feel integrated rather than purely utilitarian. Round forms (like O/Q) are open and flowing, and terminals often end in tapered, brush-like points that keep the texture consistent across display and text sizes.
