This typeface is an italic serif with a gently calligraphic construction and a steady, readable rhythm. Strokes show a clear diagonal stress with modest thick–thin modulation, and terminals frequently finish in small, tapered, bracketed serifs that soften joins and transitions. The capitals are slightly expansive with elegant, open curves (notably in C, G, and O), while the lowercase leans consistently and maintains rounded bowls and smooth linking forms. Numerals follow the same italic, old-style feel, with flowing curves and varied widths that reinforce an organic texture in text.

It is well suited to continuous reading in editorial layouts, book interiors, and long-form articles where an italic serif with warmth can carry narrative comfortably. It can also work effectively for refined invitations, quotes, and pull-phrases where a classical, cultivated texture is desirable.

The overall tone is literary and classical, suggesting bookish sophistication rather than sharp modernity. Its slanted, pen-influenced forms feel warm and human, lending a composed, editorial voice with a touch of traditional elegance.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib or pen-informed italic writing into a polished text face, balancing expressive stroke behavior with disciplined proportions for comfortable reading. It aims for traditional credibility and warmth, producing a familiar, humanist page color without feeling rigid or mechanical.

The italic is not overly steep; instead it favors a controlled, continuous forward motion, with distinctive curved entry/exit strokes and softly flared finishes. Counters remain open in running text, giving the face a calm color while still retaining lively, hand-drawn energy in details like the italic lowercase forms and the more sculpted capitals.
