A sharply angular blackletter-inspired display face with broken, thorn-like terminals and irregular, carved-looking edges. Strokes are heavy and taper into needle points, creating a cut-and-slash rhythm along stems and diagonals, while bowls and counters stay relatively tight and dark. Capitals are compact and vertical with pronounced notches and wedge serifs; lowercase forms keep a narrow footprint with uneven contouring that reads like distressed ink or chipped metal. Numerals follow the same spurred, blade-ended construction, maintaining a consistently aggressive silhouette across the set.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror titles, event posters, album/track artwork, game branding, and thematic packaging. It can also work for chapter heads or pull quotes where the jagged texture is part of the mood, rather than for extended body copy.

The font projects a sinister, occult-leaning tone—more hacked and weaponized than ornamental. Its jagged texture and pointed endings suggest danger and suspense, giving text a tense, unsettling atmosphere suited to horror and dark fantasy aesthetics.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediate horror cue by combining blackletter structure with distressed, spike-heavy detailing. It prioritizes silhouette drama and atmospheric texture over neutrality, creating a distinctive headline voice for dark, theatrical themes.

In longer lines the repeated spikes create a strong surface texture, so letterspacing and size will significantly affect legibility. The design is most effective when allowed to breathe, where the serrated contours and sharp terminals can read as intentional detail rather than noise.
