A serifed display face with largely classical proportions that are deliberately disrupted by distressed, chipped contours. Strokes maintain a fairly even, print-like weight, but many terminals and inner curves show ragged bite marks and uneven cutouts, producing a weathered edge. The overall rhythm stays upright and readable, with conventional letter structures (including double‑storey forms and clear serifs) contrasted against sporadic erosion along bowls, stems, and joins. Texture intensity varies from glyph to glyph, creating a slightly unpredictable, collage-like color on the line.

Best suited to short, prominent settings where the chipped texture can be appreciated—posters, headlines, packaging, and cover work. It can work for brief pull quotes or quirky branding lines, but the uneven distressing may become visually busy in small sizes or extended reading contexts.

The font reads as mischievous and eccentric—like a traditional book face that’s been scratched, torn, or stamped with imperfect ink. Its irregular damage pattern gives it a playful, slightly spooky or punky attitude without becoming fully illegible, making the tone feel crafty and intentionally “wrong” in a controlled way.

The design intention appears to be fusing familiar serif typography with an intentionally distressed, irregular surface to create an expressive display voice. It aims to feel recognizable and readable at a glance while adding character through controlled damage and inconsistent edges.

The distressed detailing appears as localized gouges and rough patches rather than an all-over grain, so certain letters (notably round forms) can show more visible breakup than straighter shapes. In longer text, this produces a lively sparkle but also a fluctuating texture density that draws attention to word shapes.
